Dr. Scott Bethune returns for his 8th season as the Medical Director in Stockton. A life long hockey fan, Dr. Bethune has quickly become a team favorite within the locker room developing a strong rapport with both the staff and players.

Dr. Bethune keeps his schedule full by working with other local sports teams, including Delta College athletics. Understanding the importance of education, he also serves as the Medical Director for the University of the Pacific Athletic Training Education Program and is a Sports Medicine Preceptor for the San Joaquin General Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. His medical interests include arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, along with shoulder joint replacement.

Education: Undergraduate, Medical school, and Residency completed at the University of Western Ontario…Internship at the University of Toronto…Fellowship at SportMed West in Sydney, Australia…Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS)…Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
