We’re fired up for what’s coming to Stockton Arena this season!
“We’re excited about the range and depth of our in-game promotional schedule for the upcoming season,” Heat CEO Brian Petrovek said. “Traditional favorites return, with memories created over the years, sparked with fresh, new energy and value sprinkled throughout the season for fans of all ages to enhance the fan experience and create new memories. We’re all fired up for Stockton Heat Hockey, version ’17-18’.”
So we compiled a list of EVERYTHING that is new this season and put it on one page for you to take a look at. We’re focused on making sure you can create long lasting memories with your family and friends this season, which is why we are continuing some of Stockton’s traditional favorites and breathing new life into our promotional schedule with new nights, new giveaways and new promotions to make sure you have a great time at Heat Hockey games in 2017-18!
During all Wednesday night home games, all fans can purchase .50 cent wings and $4 bottomless popcorn!
Your weekends just got much better too! Starting on all Friday home games, kid’s can get in FREE to the games for Fry-day presented by Golden State Restaurant Group McDonald’s! Fans who eat at a participating McDonald’s location can bring their receipt to the Stockton Arena Ticket Office and with a purchase of one adult ticket, can get one ticket for their child (12-years-old and younger) for FREE!
Saturday’s are Hockey Night in Stockton presented by Budweiser! All Saturday home games will feature a Bud and Burger deal where fans 21-years-old and over can purchase a Budweiser and a Burger for just $15! Every Saturday game on Ring Road, we’ll be hosting pregame parties for all fans featuring live music, games, food and beverage and Kid’s Zone. All pregame parties are free to attend and start at 4:00 p.m. and ends when the puck drops!
Every Friday and Saturday night that the Heat are home, we’ll open up the brand new Breakaway Café located on the Fan Deck and open to anyone inside Stockton Arena! The Breakaway Cafe features local restaurants serving specialty dishes, a Brewhaus with rotating craft beer taps, high-top tables and chairs and more for an unprecedented social experience for Heat Hockey fans!
Sunday’s this season are all about our In-Shape Health Club 4 Pack! Pick up a 4 pack of tickets starting at just $40 (with a savings up to $24) and all fans in attendance can purchase $1 hot dogs, $2 sodas and $3 Rita’s Italian Ice!
New to the Arena
There are lots of new areas to check out in our Arena during the 2017-18 season, giving you more options than ever to have an immersive and engaging experience at Stockton Heat Hockey games!
You’ll notice that the Spirit Station from the postseason games at Stockton Arena returns all season long on the concourse! There, fans can create signs, pick up Stockton Heat temporary tattoos and on select nights, enjoy face painting and balloon animals!
The Rinkside Suite was such a popular amenity for fans last year that we’ve made another one! The new Rinkside Suite seats up to 16 people and is available to book right now by calling Mark Hicks at 209.373.1523.
We’ll also have more planned autograph sessions as fans can meet their favorite players for selfies and autographs in the North Concourse after games on select Saturday nights including October 21, November 18 and December 9.
Promotions & Giveaways
We’ve added a ton of brand new nights and giveaways to the schedule! Get fired up for some of these great new promotions for the 2017-18 season!
Friday, October 6 – Port Proud/Stockton Proud presented by the Port of Stockton with the Heat wearing special Port of Stockton jerseys that will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting a local charity. The first 2,500 fans in the building will receive a Stockton Heat Stadium Cup which can be used to purchase soda refills at Stockton Arena concession stands for $3 all season long.
Saturday, October 7 – Calgary Flames Night with the Heat wearing Calgary Flames jerseys which will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting a local charity. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Calgary Flames hockey puck.
Saturday, October 14 – Night of Champions celebrating champions of sport, community and academia.
Friday, October 20 – Filipino Heritage Night recognizing Stockton’s rich Filipino community.
Saturday, October 21 – Safe Trick-Or-Treating night where kids can dress in Halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating inside Stockton Arena after the game ends.
Saturday, November 4 – Stockton Heat Hockey Fights Cancer presented by Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center recognizes all people suffering from forms of cancer, seeing the Heat wear special lavender jerseys for the first time with proceeds from the jersey auction and a portion of ticket sales going back to St. Joseph’s Cancer Institute. Plus, the first 500 kids 12-years-old and younger and 1,000 adults and teens 13-years-old and over will receive Stockton Heat Hockey Fights Cancer replica jerseys.
Friday, November 17 – During Superhero night, the first 1,000 kids 12-years-old and younger will receive a Heat mask.
Saturday, November 18 – Hispanic Heritage Night will recognize Stockton’s strong Hispanic community while also rewarding the first 1,500 fans with a Stockton Heat scarf.
Saturday, December 9 – Sing 4 Santa Night will turn the Heat game into a holiday musical all game long with fans invited to sing some of our favorite holiday classics in what should be the largest group of karaoke in Stockton! Plus, it’s also the Heat’s first Bobblehead Night as Central State Credit Union brings you the Mark Jankowski Bobblehead.
Sunday, December 31 – Kid’s New Year & Fireworks Celebration will be a fun night for the entire family, starting with New Year’s Eve items being given out at the doors and culminating in an indoor fireworks display after the game.
Saturday, January 6 – Western Night will see the first 1,000 fans take home a Heat foam cowboy hat.
Saturday, January 13 – During our Military Appreciation Night, another bobblehead, this time Ryan Lomberg, will be handed out to the first 1,000 fans.
Friday, February 16 – Teachers Appreciation Night will be a great chance to recognize some of Stockton’s finest educators while also raising money for schools.
Saturday, February 17 – During this year’s Safety and Law Enforcement Appreciation Nights, the first 1,000 fans will receive a pair of Heat sunglasses.
Sunday, February 25 – During Diabetes Awareness Night presented by Jackson Rancheria, our final bobblehead will be given out as Andrew Mangiapane’s Bobblehead Night will be handed out to the first 1,000 fans.
Sunday, March 11 – Pucks and Paws Night will allow fans to bring their dogs and cats out to the game.
Saturday, March 17 – During this year’s Stockton Heat Hockey Goes Green presented by Covanta, we’ll hand out clear drawstring bags to the first 1,500 fans.
Friday, April 6 – Stockton Ports Baseball Night will help kick off baseball season at Banner Island Ballpark! The Heat will be wearing special Ports baseball themed jerseys which will be auctioned off and proceeds given to charity. Fans will also receive replica jerseys for the night as well with the first 500 kids 12-years-old and younger and 1,000 adults and teens 13-years-old and over receiving a replica jersey upon entry to Stockton Arena.
