Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL’s Calgary Flames, are set to raise money for St. Joseph’s Foundation – Breast Health Services during home games this Friday and Saturday as part of Hot Pink 1 presented by Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
On Friday, November 6 the Heat will take to the Stockton Arena ice surface that will be painted pink against the Bakersfield Condors at 7:30 p.m. before taking on the Ontario Reign on Saturday, November 7, also at 7:30.
The Heat will be wearing special pink jerseys during both nights with jerseys being available during silent and live auctions, along with raffles on the Heat’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. The live auction will take place on Saturday night after the game against Ontario.
In addition to the jerseys, the team will also have a number of special items up for bids in the silent auction with proceeds from the silent auction items, jerseys and other event proceeds donated to St. Joseph’s Foundation – Breast Health Services.
Hot Pink 1 continues the tradition that began 10 years ago while the ECHL occupied Stockton and has seen a total of $247,085 donated in the previous nine hockey seasons seeing an average of nearly $27,454 donated each year.
A special Hot Pink 1 Hat Trick plan is available now via the Stockton Heat’s website. For as low as $32, fans can get a ticket to either the November 6 or November 7 game along with two open-dated vouchers to use for future Heat games at Stockton Arena.
