Heat Announce Roster Moves
Stockton, Calif – The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the Calgary Flames, announce today that forward Derek Grant has been reassigned to the Calgary Flames while the team has assigned goalie Kent Simpson to their ECHL affiliate, the Adirondack Thunder.
Grant is the third player to play for the Heat and receive the call to Calgary and he leaves the team as the leading goalscorer having scored three in his first three games in the AHL.
The Heat play tonight against the San Antonio Rampage in Texas. Listen or watch the game on either AHL Live, Spreaker or iHeartRadio.
The team is set to return to Stockton Arena on November 6 and 7 for Hot Pink 1 presented by Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Event proceeds from Hot Pink 1 will benefit St. Joseph’s Foundation – Breast Health Services.
