Heat Reveal Goal Song Fan Vote Finalists
Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announce that “Shot Down in Flames” by AC/DC and “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes are the two finalists from the 2016-17 Goal Song Fan Vote Presented by Honey’s Air & Solar.
Fans were tasked with voting for their favorite of eight choices with AC/DC and The White Stripes placing first and second respectively. The pair of songs will be played during the Heat’s preseason game tomorrow against the Tucson Roadrunners starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the preseason game are $10 to the general public and seating will be general admission.
After the game has concluded, a new poll will be up on StocktonHeat.com/GoalSong for fans to vote for their favorite of the two songs. The winning song will remain the Heat’s goal song during the 2015-16 season beginning during Opening Night on Saturday, October 15.
Fans can vote through Wednesday, October 5 for their favorite choice.
