The Stockton Heat may not have been the best team for all 60 minutes, but the team forced an extra five minutes, and a five-round shootout to come from behind and beat the Stars 7-6 in the shootout.

The Heat accomplished something they hadn't done yet this year, come from behind in the third period and win as the Heat tied the game in the third and won the game in the shootout 7-6 against Texas. Bill Arnold and Jakub Nakladal each had 3 points while Turner Elson had a two-point night and scored the winner in the shootout!
