Video Coach/Team Operations

Kohl Schultz returns to the Stockton Heat after spending the previous two seasons with the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Kansas City Mavericks. Schultz was hired by the Mavericks as an assistant coach before being elevated to interim head coach for the second half of the 2019-20 season. He then returned to assistant duties for the 2020-21 campaign.

Prior to joining Kansas City, Schultz served as video coach for the Heat in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. Before his first stint in Stockton, the University of North Carolina alumnus accumulated experience in the collegiate ranks with two seasons as Video Coach/Community Engagement Manager at the University of Maine (2015-16 and 2016-17) and one year as Director of Hockey Operations with Bemidji State (2014-15).
