Director, Communications and New Media
Brandon Kisker is the Director, Communications and New Media, responsible for communications and marketing with the Stockton Heat while also serving as the club’s broadcaster and media relations contact. He enters his fifth season as a broadcaster for Stockton’s hockey team.
Kisker joined the Stockton Thunder in September of 2013, serving as the primary color commentator before becoming the play-by-play voice of the Thunder in 2014-15. During his two seasons with the Thunder, Kisker brought a number of improvements to the team’s social media pages and web site while also planning the first ever “We Paint the Ice Night” in 2013-14 which has since been duplicated by teams from junior hockey to the National Hockey League. In 2015-16, he transitioned from the Thunder to the Heat, serving as a media relations contact with the Flames during the 2015 Penticton Young Stars Classic and as the Heat’s inaugural broadcaster for the remainder of the season.
Previously he served as the Director of New Media, Play-by-Play of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats Bearcats DII Hockey team (ACHA) and interned for the Tampa Bay Lightning with the broadcast and community hockey departments. He announced the Lightning Conference Championship game in 2011 (High School Hockey, FL),as well as games featuring the University of South Florida Bulls (ACHA), the University of Tampa Spartans Hockey (ACHA), and served as one of the official broadcasters of the Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League in the ACHA. Kisker is also a Certified Tourism Ambassador of the City of Stockton.
Kisker received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati. He currently resides in Stockton with his wife, Heat Membership Retention Executive, Rachel, whom he met in the E-Media division in Cincinnati.
