Head Equipment Manager

A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Bureaux has 20 seasons of professional equipment managing experience and a total of 20 years of pro experience.

The 2019-20 season marks Bureaux’s ninth season in the Calgary organization after spending three years with the Abbotsford Heat, a season with the Adirondack Flames and the four previous seasons in Stockton.

Entering the 2019-20 campaign, Bureaux has worked a total of 1,476 regular season professional games in the AHL in addition to notching 500 with the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL. In the American Hockey League, Bureaux previously served as the Head Equipment Manager for the Rochester Americans for five seasons before three seasons with the Abbotsford Heat and one with the Adirondack Flames. He hit the 1,000-professional-game milestone with Abbotsford.

Bureaux began his career in the Ontario Hockey League working for the Kitchener Rangers and North Bay Centennials.  His first professional job would be with the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL starting in 1999-00, where he spent eight years as the Equipment Manager before moving up to the American Hockey League.
